LIFE TEEN EVENTS

Weekly & Monthly Events Available:  We encourage Seekers to try each of the different options as they may find one they most enjoy or is more suitable. Attendance will be tracked at events.

 

  1. Life Nights –Sundays from 6:45-8:30pm covering catechetical topics and issues and social events.  (September through April)

  2. Adore – First Sunday of the month 6:45-8:30 Adoration and worship service with XLT style praise and worship and prayer ministry offered                                                     

  3. ACTS 2:42 – Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30pm (101 Blackberry Dr.) a prayer group focused on saints, prayer, and scripture

  4. Mass & Breakfast – 7:30am Mass (days HHS has block start) followed by breakfast and fellowship.  During the summer it is 9:00 a.m. Wednesday mornings.

  5. Fireside Chats – Tuesdays SUMMER ONLY from 7:30-9:00pm (101 Blackberry Dr.) a backyard gathering to discuss Catholic teaching on current issues often presented by St. Mary Seminarians

  6. Girls’ & Guys’ Night Out (GGNO) Sundays SUMMER ONLY after 5:30 mass (hosted at Core Member’s houses) to spend time in fellowship and prayer

  7. Retreat Team - juniors & seniors that prepare, pray, plan, and execute fall or spring retreats. Team members should have previously been on a high school retreat and are required to attend at least 5/7 meetings leading up to the retreat (Tuesdays 7-9pm) Discipleship track is expected to be on team for at least one retreat.

  8. Green Team – comprised of freshman and sophomores that support Retreat Planning Team in preparation for spring and/or fall retreat.  Meetings are held at St. Mary Church on Tuesday evenings in the six weeks leading to retreat.

  9. Edge Core Team - Help with Edge Middle School Youth Ministry every Wednesday from 7:00-8:30pm *during Junior year, you need to have one additional LT event each month that serves you*

 10. Service Opportunities - Various opportunities through out the year, Haven of Rest,

       St. Als, Feed My Starving Children, etc.

 11. Trips/Outings - Servants for Christ, Fall/Spring Retreat, Discipleship Retreat, LTLC,

      Covecrest, Edge Core, Ski Trip,  Cedar Point Inspiration, and many more!
